There are great challenges to dealing with differences whether they are in the workplace or the community.  These differences can and do create conflicts of varying degrees, which can lead to mental health issues, bad job performance or disruptive community relations. 

However, all conflict is not negative, in fact it may be advisable, in most instances, not to move away from but to move toward the conflict!  Because of differences, how they vary, and the conflict they create, you need to be ready with positive approaches to maintaining focus on the bottom line.  This training is to assist and prepare you with the proper skills to examine the causes of conflicts and to build productive solutions for managing them.

Conflict Resolution Training - 4 Thought Perspectives will train your managers, supervisors and/or employees on the fundamentals of identifying, resolving and preventing conflict.  Featured skills learned in the training are:

Communication Skills - Lecture & Role Playing
Conflict Development - Stages & Strategies
Coping With “Acting Out” Behavior
Identify & Prevent Dysfunctional Conflict

 

Conflict Resolution/Intervention – 4 Thought Perspectives can provide a facilitator to facilitate conflicts that may be in your community or company with sensitivity to participants' cultural, religious and social backgrounds in various ways:

       

Conflict Intervention - to facilitate open and honest communication between individuals with the primary focus being the identification/cause of the conflict, reaching an understanding of how the cause of the conflict affects the parties involved and search for possible solutions that will move everyone involved focus back to the mission, task and/or vision.

  

Group Conflict Resolution/Intervention - Works in the same manner as Conflict Intervention however, this is more suited for larger groups or work sections that need to resolve conflicts as a unit or team, which may be affecting their overall performance.   

 

Organizational Change - To introduce change to a company or community can create conflict.  This training is to prepare leaders to better handle the negativity and positively move forward when change is introduced. 

 

Mediation – upon request, 4 Thought Perspectives will provide a mediator to mediate situations that may arise in your community or company.  In most cases the mediator will have knowledge of sensitive cultural, religious and social issues that may be of concern to those participating in the mediation.
