    A Personal Perspective…

                                                                                                                                          

Leroy Hill, is a "people" person who has learned over the past 27 years of work experience that regardless of your position in the organization, your primary responsibility is to achieve results and ensure the company's vision and mission is accomplished.  Leroy knows first hand that positive results do not happen by magic; you must make them happen by using the resources available to you such as time, money and equipment.  However, Leroy believes, emphatically, that your most important resource is your people; to him--people matter! 

 

Originally from Maryland, Leroy cultivated a philosopher's mind and a wonder for adventure, to see and learn about the peoples of the world.  Leroy's enthusiasm for observing the behaviors of those around him, conversing to understand their feelings and thoughts on their lives and work environment gave him a reputation for being a great communicator and problem-solver.  Upon graduating from high school, Leroy joined the U.S. Air Force.  His Air Force career had him working in different occupations as well as locations around the world such as: Canada, Asia, Europe and the Middle East; satisfying his youthful ambition to experience and learn about different cultures. 

 

After the Air Force, Leroy transferred his diverse occupational training and work experience, classical education, and first hand knowledge of people to train, educate, and consult for various companies and agencies.  Leroy has worked with the New Jersey Human Resources Management Institute (HRDI), Brookdale Community College Business and Community Development, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other privately owned companies.  Additionally, Leroy serves the community he lives in by volunteering for different community programs such as the New Jersey Child Program Review Board and as a Municipal Court Mediator.  Whether the venue is military, government, state or private industry, Leroy enthusiastically and insightfully keeps them wanting more--a must see presenter!

 Leroy's career has given him an unique opportunity to work in various jobs as well as positions of 

 responsibility, making him an extremely well-rounded and knowledgeable.  Leroy has: 

  • Pitched recruitment sales to educators and community VIPs; Annapolis, MD

  • Supervised teams to outstanding and effective results; Colorado Springs, CO

  • Efficiently led operational efforts utilizing million dollars worth of resources; Idaho

  • Furthered positive cultural relations through cultural awareness programs; Japan & Spain  

  • Managed/coordinated workplace Equal Opportunity (EO) efforts for approximately 4,900 personnel located in various states and 15 countries; Colorado

  • Trained future leaders of America at the United States Air Force Academy on human relations in leadership; Colorado (10 best school for education: Princeton Review)

  • Volunteered his time to positively motivate youths through presentations geared towards stopping violence, staying in school and setting goals
